EEMC’s glad to see an electric vehicle enthusiast push the electric motorcycle movement into the next lane – introducing the Ducati electric cafe racer!
The “D-EV Project” developed by Natapichat owner of Ducati Thailand & Electric Vehicle enthusiast since 2011. A Ducati Scrambler was used as the base bike for the D-EV Project, which had a 33Kw engine installed & a 5.6kWh battery. This ‘bang-on-the-money’ electric motorcycle puts out an impressive 107Nm instantly, making a top speed of 160km/h possible.
The Ducati project weighs just 165 kg with a range of over 100km – mighty impressive! For more electric motorcycles checkout East Anglia’s English Electric Motors Co for the new Zero & SuperSoco
