The Green Business Event, held in the grounds of Rectory Cottage Freckenham, is part of the Business Energy Efficiency Anglia (BEE Anglia) initiative by Suffolk County Council and was hosted by Gold Charter holder and property developer Nick Woolley of Woolley & Co
The successful event was organised by Peter Frost, Environmental Strategy Officer for Suffolk County Council described the gathering as ‘the most successful ever’! Lord Cranbrook was invited to open the event and has been one of the world’s leading conservationists for over 50 years. There were keynote speakers such as Ben Bolgar, Senior Design Director at the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community.
EMMC was invited along to the event in July to showcase our environmentally friendly Zero, SuperSoco & Oset motorcycles/mopeds, which Peter Frost said were ‘spot on’! In fact, one lady he said, ‘told me that she had a 125cc bike when she was younger and seeing the environmentally friendly ones there made her want to get back onto two wheels again’ – what a great testimony! There was also a selection of electric cars including TESLAs on display too!
So a big thank you to Peter Frost for inviting EEMC, as the day gave us the opportunity to share knowledge and experience with some of Suffolk’s most environmentally dynamic businesses.
We look forward to the event in 2019!
