Sur-Ron Hyper Bee

The Hyper Bee takes Sur-Ron’s mid-drive layout and shrinks it. An 8kW motor puts 185Nm through the rear wheel for a 40mph top speed, and the whole bike weighs 38kg, so it pulls like something far bigger and stops being intimidating the moment you have to pick it up. It is the one to learn on, and the one to take where a full-size machine simply will not fit.
BUILT FOR TIGHT GOING
This is the 12 inch front, 10 inch rear build. The smaller wheels drop the seat to 635mm and sharpen the steering, which is exactly what you want in woods, on a technical track, or anywhere the lines are close together. There is a 14 inch front, 12 inch rear version that sits higher with more ground clearance if you ride more open ground, so ask us if that sounds more like your riding. At 38kg either one goes into a van without a ramp or a second pair of hands.
RIDE, CHARGE, RIDE AGAIN
A 58V 22Ah lithium pack gives up to 35 miles at a steady 25mph and charges from 20 to 80 per cent in two hours. No fuel to mix, no oil to change and no clutch to slip, so between rides there is little to do beyond plugging it in. The Hyper Bee is an off-road machine and is not road registered, so ride it on private land with the landowner’s permission, on a track, or at a pay-and-ride site.
