The Torrot SM1 Supermotard MY26 is crafted as an electric supermotard-style bike tailored to younger riders getting into off-road and street-style riding. With an estimated suitable age range of around 3–7 years (depending on height and confidence), the SM1 balances approachable ergonomics with real bike handling. Its seat height of 775–790 mm and 10″ wheels (90/90-10) make it low-slung and easy to manage, helping smaller riders feel secure while learning braking, steering, and throttle control.
Smooth, Safe Electric Performance
Powering the SM1 is a programmable electric drive delivering up to 840 W and a top speed of 42 km/h (≈26 mph). This performance is user-friendly and well suited to beginner and intermediate skill levels, providing enough punch to enjoy fun rides without overwhelming a young rider. Crucially, the performance can be adjusted using the Torrot app, letting parents tailor speed, throttle response, and safety limits to suit the rider’s ability and environment.
Practical Battery & Handling
The SM1 uses a 46.8 V / 6.6 Ah (~309 Wh) removable lithium battery that’s easy to charge using the supplied charger, typically reaching full charge in about 4 hours. With an overall weight of 33 kg (with battery) and hydraulic braking front and rear, the bike feels stable and confidence-inspiring while still light enough for kids to manoeuvre. These features make the SM1 a versatile choice for weekend rides, skill building, and general off-road exploration.
