Smooth electric power and versatile range
Powered by a compact motor with 8.4 kW peak output, the LS1 produces up to 240 Nm of torque at the rear wheel for smooth, silent acceleration. Top speed is 62 mph with a sustained cruising speed of 53 mph, making it quick enough for city and suburban roads. Zero rates the scooter’s optimal range at 72 miles, or 108 miles with the optional third battery installed, and its mixed‑use range is 69 miles (104 miles with the extra battery). This flexibility lets riders choose between lighter weight and more storage or extended range depending on their daily needs.
Lightweight design with storage and comfort
Zero designed the LS1 for easy urban handling. The twin 1.86 kWh batteries are mounted low in the floorboard to keep the centre of gravity down and improve agility. The 30.7 in (780 mm) seat height and 291 lb curb weight make the scooter accessible to riders of varying sizes while still offering a carrying capacity of 331 lb. A flip‑up seat reveals a storage bay large enough for a helmet or groceries, or you can use that space to fit an optional third battery module to extend the range. A 5‑inch TFT colour dash shows speed, battery state and regenerative braking info at a glance.
Efficient charging and affordable ownership
The LS1’s battery system has 4.4 kWh maximum capacity (3.7 kWh nominal). Using the integrated 800 W charger, you can refill the pack to 100 % in 5 hours or to 90 % in 4.5 hours, and an optional accessory charger cuts those times to 3.1 hours and 2.6 hours, respectively. The scooter rides on ABS‑equipped brakes and high‑traction Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres, and its maintenance‑free belt drive reduces operating costs. With a £4,500 MSRP and a standard two‑year warranty, the LS1 offers an accessible entry point into Zero’s electric‑vehicle lineup.
